Digitizing operations for a field security company

The engagement began with an assessment of a proposed custom application. The analysis showed that an existing tool, properly configured, could address the immediate need. Mapageweb structured the field-management environment, then implemented the website, inquiry forms and Google presence.

01

Initial situation

A significant part of the company’s work was managed manually. The business needed a clearer way to organize the field operations included in the engagement and handle incoming requests.

02

The decision

The operational need was assessed before custom development began. An existing management tool could address the immediate requirement and was configured around the field work included in the engagement. Custom software remains an option if future requirements call for functions specific to the business.

03

What was implemented

The engagement brought the operational and public-facing pieces into a more structured environment.

  • A management environment configured around the established field-work needs
  • Digitization of the operations included in the engagement
  • A website presenting the company and its services
  • Forms for submitting an inquiry online
  • An established Google presence

04

What is now in place

The company now has a digital environment to better coordinate field work and day-to-day follow-up. Customers can also find the business online, understand its services and submit an inquiry through the website.
